The Role:

  • Working closely with the Estimators and wider commercial team, you will play a vital role in ensuring tenders are prepared efficiently and submitted on time.
  • You will be responsible for coordinating documentation, maintaining accurate records and supporting the day-to-day administration of the estimating function.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the estimating team.
  • Preparing and issuing tender enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Managing incoming quotations and maintaining tender records.
  • Organising project documentation and electronic filing systems.
  • Assisting with the preparation and submission of tender documentation.
  • Liaising with internal departments, suppliers and subcontractors to obtain information required for tenders.
  • Updating spreadsheets, databases and reporting information accurately.
  • Ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will be highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Previous experience in a construction, engineering or commercial administration role would be advantageous, although applicants with strong administrative experience from other sectors will also be considered.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or coordinator role.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to work independently while supporting a busy team.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
