Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare budget estimates and detailed project costings for a range of construction projects.
  • Develop costs from outline briefs, concept layouts, or limited design information.
  • Build estimates from first principles including labour, plant, materials, and subcontract packages.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation where applicable.
  • Produce cost plans for industrial, commercial, and general construction projects.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, engineers, and internal teams during the pre-construction process.
  • Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options during pricing stages.
  • Support directors and operational teams with commercial input during project development.
  • Assist with procurement planning and project handover.
  • Maintain and develop pricing databases and estimating systems.
