Working within a small, supportive team, you’ll play a key role in keeping the office running smoothly while helping to improve systems, processes and day-to-day administration.

The Role:

  • You’ll provide administrative support across the organisation while helping to modernise and improve office systems and procedures.
  • Your responsibilities will include:
    • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Office Manager and wider team.
    • Maintaining registers, system access records and key operational information.
    • Supporting invoice administration and correspondence.
    • Managing filing systems, document control and record keeping.
    • Preparing documents, reports, spreadsheets and general correspondence.
    • Assisting with the implementation and administration of new digital systems, including HR and fleet management platforms.
    • Supporting the development of more efficient office procedures and administrative processes.
    • Identifying opportunities to improve workflows and reduce administrative bottlenecks.
    • Working independently while maintaining excellent communication with colleagues.

About you:

We’re looking for someone who is organised, dependable and enjoys creating order in a busy environment. You’ll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, handling confidential information and taking ownership of your workload, while also bringing fresh ideas for improving processes.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in an administration, office support or business support role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience managing records, documentation and correspondence.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and work independently.
  • A proactive approach with confidence suggesting practical improvements.
  • Confidence learning and supporting new digital systems.

Working arrangements:

This is a flexible part-time role of approximately 21 to 24 hours per week, with the working pattern agreed between you and the organisation. A minimum of one day per week will be office-based, with flexibility around the remaining hours.

Please note: Due to the location of the office, a full UK driving licence and access to your own transport are essential.
