Role
- You will take full commercial responsibility for a key MOD account, ensuring financial performance, contractual compliance and operational efficiency across the estate.
Key Objectives
- Take ownership of the commercial performance of a designated MOD account, ensuring profitability and value delivery.
- Manage and interpret Schedule of Rates, ensuring accuracy, consistency and commercial compliance.
- Drive cost control, forecasting and reporting to maintain strong financial discipline.
- Lead on contract administration, ensuring all terms are adhered to and risks are effectively managed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and client-side.
- Identify commercial opportunities to improve margins and enhance service delivery.
- Support operational teams with commercial insight to drive performance and efficiency.
- Lead negotiations and resolve any commercial disputes in a proactive and professional manner.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor role.
- Strong background within facilities management, construction or maintenance environments.
- Solid experience working with Schedule of Rates contracts.
- Commercially astute, with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (or equivalent).
- RICS, CIPS or similar professional accreditation is advantageous.
