Are you an experienced Architectural Technician based in Perthshire and ready to take the next step in your career? Pettigrew Recruitment Group is proud to be partnering with one of Perthshire’s leading construction businesses to appoint an Architectural Technician for their expanding Design Office in Perth. This role offers the chance to work across a diverse project portfolio—including agricultural, commercial, industrial and residential schemes - while contributing to high‑quality, practical design solutions from initial concept through to completion.

The Role: As an Architectural Technician, you will play an integral role in delivering technical design services that are compliant, practical and aligned with client expectations. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, Local Authorities, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure all design information is produced accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing Proposal, Planning, Building Warrant and Construction Issue drawings.
  • Developing design solutions that comply with current Building Standards.
  • Preparing detailed CAD drawings and 3D models.
  • Managing design documentation (incoming and outgoing).
  • Advising on regulatory, statutory and environmental requirements.
  • Supporting senior managers during client meetings and presentations.
  • Preparing construction drawings for site teams.
  • Liaising with subcontractors and external stakeholders.
  • Conducting site inspections and surveys.

Assisting with Health 3D modelling experience highly advantageous. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines. Strong communication, coordination and analytical skills.
