We are one of the best artisan bakeries in Cardiff creating a range of Sourdough breads every day, using the finest Organic flours, and slow long fermentation techniques.

Shift paterns are typically 4am start for production, we also have one earlier start bake shift per day from 1/2am which is covered by preference and experience on rotation.

We offer 4 working shifts with 3 days off per week, typically hours all hourly paid.

Duties
– Prepare and bake a variety of specialist artisan breads
– Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality
– Attention to detail and creative expression encouraged
– Monitor stock levels and order ingredients as needed
– Maintain a clean and organised work area
– Adhere to all food safety and cleaning guidelines
– Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production

Requirements
– Previous experience as a bread baker or in a similar role e.g. chef is essential
– Knowledge and understanding of food safety
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
– Excellent time management skills
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
– Strong communication skills
– Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends as required on a rota basis
