Role and Responsibilities
- Take on the role of Store Manager at Petstock and lead a passionate team in delivering the world-class customer service we’re known for, playing a key role in the success of the Petstock Group.
- Lead by example, mentoring and inspiring your team daily
- Coach your team to achieve and develop their knowledge and skills
- Lead from the front by consistently providing an exceptional customer experience
- Create a strong safety mindset, fostering a culture of safety within your team
- Recruit, onboard, and induct high-calibre new team members
- Manage stock effectively, ensuring accuracy and adherence to stock integrity processes
- Demonstrate initiative by keeping up to date on pet care, products, and services
- Create a fun, supportive in-store culture where the team enjoys coming to work
- Proactively support local marketing opportunities and sponsorships
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in a similar store leadership role or readiness to take the next step in retail management
- Demonstrated drive to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Strong leadership to motivate and build a high-performing team while fostering a positive culture
- Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities and ensure timely task completion
- Commitment to safe Work, Health & Safety practices
- Established business acumen
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work conditions
