- A Peek Into Your Petstock Day
- Provide full grooming services for a variety of breeds, including bathing, drying, nail clipping, brushing, combing and both generic and breed-specific clipping
- Provide a positive and memorable grooming experience for all customers and their dogs
- Coordinate the grooming salon and clients in conjunction with the Store Manager
- Make client bookings
- Assist store shop floor team when required, providing exceptional customer service where you and your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions
- Maintain a consistently high standard of salon presentation and oversee stock management
- Work with the Store Manager and team to ensure member program targets and expectations are consistently met
- Proactively support local marketing opportunities and recruitment referral programs
- Work with the team to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Maintain a strong safety mindset with commitment to create a culture of safety within your team
Requirements
- Experience in professional dog grooming
- Qualification in Grooming preferred, but not essential
- Ability to create and embed strong safety practices throughout the salon and store
- Good knowledge of specific breed clips, with a commitment to maintaining grooming styles and brand/product knowledge
- Physically fit, with the ability to lift heavy animals as required
- Demonstrated experience in handling and working with live animals
- Maintain advanced understanding of zoonotic and skin diseases and how to identify them
- Proven ability to exceed grooming KPIs through high-quality care, customer satisfaction, and strong team collaboration
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively engage with customers and team members
- Strong attention to detail
