Job Overview

We're looking for a sharp, proactive, and hands-on Inventory Clerk to join our Coventry team. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for keeping our stock levels accurate, organised, and flowing smoothly. You'll manage inventory movements, oversee inbound goods, maintain system accuracy, and help refine our warehouse processes as we continue to grow. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organised, and thrives in a fast-paced fulfilment environment. If you're someone who enjoys bringing order to chaos and ensuring everything is right where it should be, you'll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out regular and ad hoc stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain and update the Warehouse Management System (WMS), keeping data clean and consistent.
  • Conduct both scheduled and spot stock audits to identify and resolve discrepancies quickly.
  • Oversee inbound deliveries - checking quantities, quality, and accuracy on arrival.
  • Support warehouse organisation by managing labelling, placement, and storage of stock.
  • Work collaboratively with the operations team to maintain efficient daily workflows.
  • Take on additional duties as required to support day-to-day operations.

Key Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in inventory management or a similar warehouse/stock control role.
  • Familiarity with inventory systems or WMS software.
  • Sharp mathematical skills for accurate stock counts and data analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Well organised and confident communicator.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-moving environment.
  • Basic computer literacy, including Google Suite, Slack, and email.
  • Physically capable of moving stock and standing or walking for extended periods when required.

Desired Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Mintsoft.
  • More than two years' experience of Inventory / Stock management in an FMCG setting.
  • Previous experience working to strict standards for major retailers - think Amazon and Boots to name a few!

Why Join & What You'll Get from Farfill

  • Impactful Role: Play a key role in a fast-growing fulfilment business where your work directly supports our success.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with the Operations Manager and a talented team, gaining hands-on experience and valuable insights.
  • Growth Opportunities: Opportunities for professional development and career advancement as we continue to scale.
  • Dynamic Culture: Be part of a fun, forward-thinking team that values innovation, adaptability, and a positive work environment.
  • Package: Competitive rate of £12.50 per hour, plus 24 days' holiday and public holidays.

We're proud to celebrate diversity in all its forms - because innovation doesn't come from thinking the same way. While we'd love to open our doors to talent from every corner of the world, we're currently unable to provide UK visa sponsorship - so this role requires full, unrestricted right to work in the UK.
