We’re looking for a dynamic Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our growing team in a new business development role that will evolve into account management as you secure and grow your portfolio.
We are the 5th largest branded pet care manufacturer in the UK, home to fast growing brands Webbox, Bob Martin, Meatiful, Felight, TastyBone, Hownd and Vets Kitchen.
With an exciting pipeline of new product launches exclusively for the vet channel, we’re driving ambitious growth in this sector. To power this expansion, we’re looking for a Key Account Manager to grow sales across the UK.
About the Role:
As our Veterinary Key Account Manager, you’ll drive new business across independent vets, corporate groups, and distribution partners. This pivotal role suits someone who thrives on autonomy, strategic thinking, building strong relationships and who wants the chance to shape their own business and grow with it.
Once accounts are onboarded, your focus will shift to nurturing long-term partnerships and driving growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and secure new veterinary customers within the UK vet sector.
- Develop tailored proposals and presentations to win new business.
- Build and provide product training and CPD as well as other value-added services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, working with technical, innovation and marketing teams.
- Transition new clients into managed accounts, ensuring smooth onboarding.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver value to clients.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
About You:
- Proven experience managing corporate veterinary accounts, buying groups and wholesalers.
- Strong track record in new business development and account management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
