About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Quality Technologist to play a pivotal role in developing and delivering compliant, high-quality pet accessories. You’ll lead a team of technologists, drive product safety & quality standards and work closely with our Asia-based sourcing office to ensure seamless product development from concept to shelf.
The role offers hybrid working (three office days per week) from our Support Office in Handforth, Chehire.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor product technologists, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
- Oversee compliance, safety and quality assurance across multiple categories
- Collaborate with global sourcing teams to align timelines, specifications and testing protocols
- Manage third‑party testing and ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks (REACH, RoHS, WEEE)
- Implement robust QA processes and maintain traceability throughout the product lifecycle
- Support supplier onboarding and performance reviews
- Deputise for the Technical & Product Manager when required
About You
- Extensive experience in product development and/or quality assurance (homewares or pet accessories preferred)
- Further experience in a leadership/team management role
- Strong knowledge of product safety standards and regulatory compliance
- Experience working with Asia-based sourcing or manufacturing teamsExcellent communication, stakeholder management and decision‑making skills
- Highly organised with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
