Join Our Team as a Growth Manager - Vet Business! At Pets at Home, we are revolutionizing the veterinary industry with our innovative Practice Owner model. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Growth Manager to drive the expansion of our vet business through new practice openings and relocations. This is a field-based role with regular travel to current practices and new site locations, covering the West and South West of England and South Wales. Our successful candidate will need to live within the region.
About The Role
As a Growth Manager, you will play a key part in driving the expansion of our veterinary practice footprint.
- Conducting commercial analysis to identify high-potential growth opportunities, including new locations, expansions and relocations for our veterinary practices.
- Developing comprehensive business plans and financial models for growth projects.
- Preparing and presenting investment proposals to the Head of Partnership Growth.
- Assembling and leading cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for Practice Owners, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Collaborating with Clinical and People teams to optimise space utilisation within our existing veterinary practices.
- Partnering with the Marketing team to execute communication plans for growth projects.
- Establishing and tracking KPIs for growth projects, analysing results for continuous improvement.
About You
- Proven success in leading complex business development, project management or partnership initiatives.
- Strong financial acumen, with an understanding of Joint Venture financial models and (ideally) veterinary practice operations.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse data and identify growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, focused on delivering commercial results.
- Collaborative leader with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams.
- Adaptable and resourceful problem-solver with a growth mindset.
