The Role: Our Assistant Stylists are crucial to the success of our Pets Grooming salons. You will deliver high standards of pet care while demonstrating a basic understanding of grooming techniques, including handling, equipment use, and pre-grooming preparation. We will provide training, skills, and knowledge to help you deliver excellent service, reflecting our goal of being the 'Best Pet Care Business in the World'. We offer a competitive salary and support your growth through training and development programs, including our Earn as You Learn initiatives and skill-based pay increases.
We are seeking individuals who are:
- Passionate about delivering excellent service.
- Flexible, with the ability to work a shift pattern across 6 days a week (we are closed on Sundays). You will have a minimum contract of 39 hours, with potential for more hours during busy periods, absences, and holidays.
- Experience working with or handling dogs in a professional grooming or pet care environment is desirable but not essential (note: bathing and prepping your own dog does not count as professional experience).
- Experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
- Preferably experienced in target-driven environments, but willing to learn if not.
