Were looking for a Deputy Store Manager to join our team in Yeovil . Reporting to the Store Manager , youll be a key part of our retail management team and take full responsibility for the store when the Store Manager is unavailable. Youll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the store, from recruitment and stock control to maintaining high store standards and customer service . Your key responsibilities will include: Leading and inspiring your team to ensure a fun, productive, and customer-focused environment. Maximising sales and ensuring your team performs across all key KPIs. Managing store operations, including recruitment, stock management , and compliance with health and safety. Taking on the role of Duty Manager in the absence of the Store Manager . Being hands-on, driving the stores success by leading from the front. We provide industry-leading training and support, equipping you with everything you need to deliver exceptional customer service and help us become the Best Pet Care Business in the World . Who are we looking for? You have at least 1 years management experience in a retail environment . Passionate about retail with a proven track record of delivering excellent results and maintaining high standards. Flexible to work a 7-day shift pattern , including weekends and bank holidays. A strong team player with exceptional communication skills, able to engage and motivate your team. Ready to undertake 6 months of comprehensive training , covering everything from customer service and health & safety to pet care .
