We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Veterinary Care Assistant to join our friendly team at Reading Vets for Pets. Our bright, spacious, and fully air‑conditioned practice is purpose‑built to industry‑leading standards and equipped with state‑of‑the‑art facilities, including digital X‑ray technology and a comprehensive in‑house laboratory. As a Veterinary Care Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of the practice. This is a full‑time position working up to 40hrs per week with 1 in 6 Saturday rotation working alongside one of our nursing team.

Responsibilities

  • You are the friendly, welcoming face for clients and their pets as they arrive at the practice.
  • You stay fully informed about our services and any additional offerings, enabling you to provide confident, helpful guidance.
  • You remain calm, attentive, and focused on each client's needs.
