Oxford Cowley Vets for Pets is hiring an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team. If you’re passionate about delivering outstanding client care and thrive in a team-focused environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
Ensuring every client visit is a positive experience, leaving clients feeling confident in the care provided and looking forward to their next visit. Welcoming clients and offering support, guidance, and reassurance, while confidently managing payments and future bookings. Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice using our online booking system, so strong computer literacy is essential. We offer both full-time and part-time hours, with a rota that includes working two weekends out of every four.
What you’ll do- Provide exceptional service to our clients and the very best care for their pets, acting as a key link between clients and the clinical team.
- Build strong relationships with our clients, their pets, and the wider practice team—this will be essential to your success in the role.
- Support the practice with day-to-day receptionist duties, including managing payments and future bookings using the online booking system.
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a similar client-facing role.
- A friendly and welcoming manner, acting as the first point of contact for clients and their pets when they arrive at the practice.
- The ability to provide confident guidance by staying up to date with practice services and any additional offerings.
- A calm, attentive approach, with a strong focus on meeting clients' needs at all times.
- Enthusiasm, energy, and a genuine passion for delivering excellent service, matched by a love of pets.
