We're looking for a friendly, caring and enthusiastic Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Bath Vets for Pets for a 12-month maternity cover contract. As the first point of contact for our clients and their much-loved pets, you'll play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming and professional experience while helping the practice run smoothly. What you'll be doing:
- Welcoming clients and their pets to the practice
- Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries
- Booking and managing appointments
- Processing payments and completing general administrative tasks
- Supporting the wider veterinary team with the day-to-day running of the practice
- Delivering excellent customer service to every client
We're looking for someone who:
- Is friendly, approachable and confident
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is organised and works well as part of a team
- Has a genuine love of animals
- Can remain calm and professional in a busy environment
Previous veterinary reception experience would be an advantage, but it's not essential. If you enjoy helping people and their pets, thrive in a busy environment and want to make a positive difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover position, working 16 hours per week, including 1 in 4 Saturdays with a salary will be in line with the National Minimum Wage.
