We are now looking for a General Manager to lead the team at Pétrus by Gordon Ramsay, located in Knightsbridge, London. Petrus by Gordon Ramsay is an elegant fine dining restaurant which has retained a Michelin star since 2011. Serving modern French cuisine, the restaurant benefits from a magnificent state of the art cylindrical wine vault constructed from glass in the middle of the restaurant, creating a fantastic ambience for both our guests and the team.
The General Manager must have:
- A passion for hospitality, food, wine and exceptional guest service
- The motivation and leadership skills to represent the Gordon Ramsay Brand and its world class hospitality standards
- A keen eye for detail to ensure delivery of standards at the highest level
- A proven track record of recruiting, developing, motivating and retaining a high performing team
- Good commercial acumen with previous P&L responsibility
- A strong personality, with confidence and enthusiasm to lead the team in the day to day running of the restaurant
- Exceptional communication skills – verbal and written – to ensure clear communication with all stakeholders
- Ability to multi task and effectively manage relationships at all levels
We are ideally looking for candidates who:
- Previous experience as a General Manager within a Michelin Star restaurant, either independent or part of a 5 star hotel and comprehensive knowledge of hospitality & restaurant operations
- Are passionate about delivering the highest levels of service to our guests in an engaging and informative way
- Are responsible for the overall planning, business development and success of the restaurant alongside the Executive Head Chef
- Ensuring service standards throughout the entire guest journey exceed expectations
- Effectively coordinate, control and manage all resources and commercials to deliver all targets of the P&L
