I am a young man with complex health care needs, and I require 2:1 support at all times. My conditions mean that I require support with all aspects of my daily living and the suitable candidate will need to be able to support me with various tasks throughout the day, these include but are not limited to personal care, feeding, physio, administering of medication. I enjoy listening to music and participating in brain stimulation exercises, which enhance my mood and cognitive function. I have my own swimming pool where I relax and relieve muscle tension through gentle swimming. It is essential that carers adopt a person-centred approach, allowing me to live life to the fullest by supporting my interests and preferences.

The ideal candidate will ideally live locally to me, be flexible, patient, have a good sense of humour and a genuine caring nature. Be a team player as you will be working with another carer to provide 2:1 care. Experience is advantageous but not compulsory as all training will be provided. Candidates must be able to make their own way to and from the client's address.
