We are seeking a Product Manager who will own a defined area of Petrolink's product suite, working closely with engineering and design to deliver outcomes that matter to our customers and the business. What You’ll Do:

  • Build deep understanding of customer problems through regular contact including interviews, workshops, support feedback and usage data.
  • Develop strong domain expertise in your product area, partnering closely with customers and internal SMEs to deepen your understanding of industry workflows and technical concepts.
  • Identify opportunities through customer insights, market trends and data analysis.
  • Validate problems and solutions committing to build.
  • Define and own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for your area, aligned with company objectives.
  • Make clear prioritisation decisions and trade‑offs based on impact and effort.
  • Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle from discovery through launch and iteration, writing clear requirements, user stories and success metrics.
  • Partner closely with engineering and design to deliver high‑quality solutions on time, without compromising user experience.
  • Advocate for simple elegant solutions to complex problems.
  • Align stakeholders around priorities and trade‑offs and communicate plans, progress and decisions clearly and consistently.
  • Use data to inform decisions and measure impact, balanced with intuition and customer empathy.
  • Partner with marketing, sales and customer success (SD) to launch new features, then monitor adoption, engagement and feedback post‑launch.
  • Embrace ambiguity as an opportunity to learn and iterate, and demonstrate a strong growth mindset by actively seeking feedback and reflecting on outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential

  • 3+ years of product management experience, including minimum of 2 years in a technical B2B domain.
  • Strong track record of delivering products with cross‑functional teams in the enterprise software industry.
  • Experience working on complex, user‑facing products.
  • Strong product intuition, with the ability to identify meaningful problems and define valuable solutions.
  • Structured thinking: able to break down ambiguous problems and make clear, principled decisions.
  • Skilled in uncovering skilled customer needs through interview, observation and data (continuous discovery techniques).
  • Experience aligning a broad set of stakeholders, supported by strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive with significant autonomy and responsibility.
  • Proactive and independent, with a passion for solving broader problems and driving company‑wide impact.
  • Experience working with business intelligence and product analysis tools.

Desirable

  • Degree or equivalent in relevant field.
  • Experience in an industrial, energy, or data‑heavy B2B domain.
  • Familiarity with upstream oil and gas operations or WITSML/ETP data standards is a strong advantage.
  • Familiar with product management tooling and frameworks such as Lean, JTBD, Agile, and a range of prioritisation techniques.
