KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and grow a global, market-focused service offering within a Service Line.
- Assume overall accountability from Market Development to Project Execution & Delivery for the service.
- Assume Mini-Profit & Loss (P&L) Accountability for the Service.
- Set and deliver strategic business plan for the service.
- Set and deliver annual budget for the service.
- Build a high performing service team.
- Take responsibility for day-to-day operational performance.
- Routinely review service risks and opportunities & action accordingly.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement.
- Establish and communicate the overall vision and direction for the service.
- Develop and execute a Service Marketing Plan.
- Develop and execute a Service Business Development Plan, including: Key Accounts, Regional Planning, Priorities, Visit Plans.
- Build a robust and credible sales pipeline of opportunities that drives growth.
- Consider acquisition-based growth opportunities for the service line.
- Identify compatible and profitable potential offerings within the scope of the service line.
- Stay up to date with technological changes within the industry.
- Identify and communicate customer needs to the Service Line Head and also own service team.
- Identify and communicate market trends and direction to the Service Line Head and also own service team.
- Develop a services roadmap for the service.
- Establish a Digital roadmap for the service.
- Build out the services capability of the Service to meet market requirements.
- Work with the regional managers and other team members to achieve the award of major contracts.
- Ensure that Marketing information is available to facilitate the sales process.
- Personally lead negotiations as necessary and ensure the correct technical representation is available during sales process.
- Scale the service delivery team in accordance with demand.
- Identify and appoint key personnel.
- Manage and guide team & drive leadership development.
- Communicate with the Service Line Lead on the status and direction of the Service.
- Ensure that project delivery meets the client’s needs and those of Petrofac.
- Support development of KPIs and drive to achieve optimum outcomes for the service.
- Seek out and implement efficiency improvements that benefit the service and its customers.
- Share lessons across other services and service lines.
- Mini-P&L accountability for the service.
- Set budgets and provide forecasts for service performance.
- Routinely review the service financial performance, implementing corrective changes as necessary to optimize net margin.
- Manage revenue and costs to achieve the Service net margin objectives.
