Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining key internal customer and client relationships and delivering a seamless and efficient resourcing service.
  • Lead on talent attraction, candidate experience, talent pipelining, redeployment and onboarding whilst facilitating the full resourcing life cycle.
  • Provide professional support and advice to business managers on all aspects of resourcing.
  • Ensure effective and compliant delivery of resourcing activities.
  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment, interacting with HRBP and hiring managers to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Contribute to resource planning, including the design and implementation of bespoke recruitment campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to meet customer expectations and requirements.
  • Ensure shared service delivery meets agreed KPIs and SLA.
  • Provide training and coaching to SSC delivery.
  • Evaluate candidates’ skills, experience and qualifications through selection processes including CV screening, competency and values-based interviews, and ability and aptitude tests.
  • Facilitate redeployment, assisting redeployees to find suitable alternative employment within the business.
  • Sourcing candidates to build and maintain talent pipelines through identifying and engaging with high-calibre candidates.
  • Proactively establish resourcing requirements, market roles, and position Petrofac as an employer of choice via a range of media channels.
  • Provide continuous improvement solutions for processes and procedures.
  • Deliver process and systems training to stakeholders.
  • Advise and train hiring managers to ensure ethical and fair processes in line with regulatory and legislative guidelines.
  • Identify and maintain recruitment suppliers that support key, hard-to-find roles and improve diversity and inclusion statistics.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant subject is desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of recruitment in an in-house environment preferred; recruitment agency experience can be considered.
  • Knowledge of offshore and site-based recruitment in the oil & gas industry is desirable.
  • Awareness of competencies applicable to the oil & gas industry.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system (Oracle Taleo is advantageous).
  • Ability to build strong relationships.
  • React quickly to changes.
  • Be tenacious, organized, and work at pace.
  • Significant experience in talent acquisition for a diverse range of positions within the oil & gas, construction, renewables, or utilities sectors.
  • Experience recruiting onshore, offshore, and site-based regular, fixed-term, temporary, and contingent workers.
