Responsibilities:

  • FP&A Process Improvement & Transformation
    • Drive the ongoing transformation of the FP&A function, helping to establish more robust, consistent and scalable planning and reporting processes.
    • Work with the FP&A team to identify inefficiencies, manual workarounds and process gaps across budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis activities.
    • Partner with finance teams and business stakeholders to design and implement practical improvements.
    • Help drive standardisation of reporting packs, KPI definitions and planning methodologies across the business.
    • Support improvements in forecast accuracy, reporting timelines and overall quality of management information.
    • Support in the development of a more forward-looking and commercially focused finance function.
  • Reporting & Planning
    • Support the monthly reporting cycle, forecasting processes and annual budgeting activities.
    • Enhance management reporting to improve clarity, insight and decision-making support.
    • Develop meaningful KPI and performance analysis to support operational and strategic objectives.
    • Drive the improvement of cash flow forecasting, working capital reporting and financial risk visibility.
  • Systems and Data
    • Leverage any knowledge of existing finance systems, reporting tools and processes to identify enhancement opportunities.
    • Work closely with finance systems teams and external providers as required to improve reporting automation and data quality.
    • Drive implementation and optimisation of FP&A tools, reporting structures and data governance processes.
    • Help reduce reliance on manual spreadsheets and fragmented reporting processes.
  • Stakeholder Management and Business Partnering
    • Build strong relationships across finance and operational teams to understand business challenges and opportunities.
    • Act as a key point of coordination between FP&A, financial control and operational stakeholders.
    • Support change management activities by helping teams adopt improved processes and ways of working.
    • Influence stakeholders through practical recommendations grounded in operational finance experience.
  • Governance and Documentation
    • Support the creation and maintenance of clear process documentation, controls and standard operation procedures, linking in with Internal Controls teams as necessary.
    • Ensure planning and reporting processes are appropriately controlled, repeatable and auditable.
    • Promote consistency, accountability and best practice across finance activities.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant (e.g. CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in FP&A, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Solid background in financial analytics and performance reporting.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial controls (IFRS/US GAAP).
  • Experience in a multinational or complex business environment is advantageous.
  • Strong working knowledge of existing finance systems (Oracle Fusion, FCCS, EPM), reporting tools and associated data flows.
  • Experience working within a growing or changing business environment is preferred.
