Our HR Summer Internship Programme offers you the opportunity to join a busy and vibrant HR team, undertaking exciting projects to support the team's success and to make a real impact on the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
Our 12-week paid summer internship provides an exciting opportunity to develop an understanding of the skills needed to succeed within a busy HR team in a commodities trading environment, through hands-on projects, tailored guidance and mentorship and constructive feedback. You will have the opportunity to gain experience with using an HRIS system (Cascade), as well as working with programmes such as Excel and supporting the development of our internal Sharepoint site, where your IT and automation skills will make a real difference to streamline and improve processes.
Our internships are best suited to those currently undertaking a 3rd level degree or masters, or those who have recently graduated from a relevant area of studies. We welcome applications from those with a demonstrable interest in Human Resource Management and with strong IT, communication and organisation skills.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Currently undertaking an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or recently graduated
- Discipline not restricted, however degrees such as Business Management, HR Management, Business Administration and Psychology may be advantageous
- Previous involvement in related internships and/or societies will be viewed positively
- Appreciation and interest for Human Resource Management
- A proactive and inquisitive nature with the ability to work independently
- Demonstrable experience of using MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
- Strong communicator and team player
- Excellent organisation and time-keeping skills
