What we need from you
Your role at petplace will focus on leading the team, working under the Store Manager. You'll be performing daily management tasks but will be spending most of the time on the shop floor. With your input, we'll provide a seamless and friendly service to our customers.
We feel as though we're experts in our field, but we'll never patronise those who come to us for advice.
So, we're seeking someone who's friendly, passionate about animals, and committed to helping owners find the best products for their pets.
In other words, if you're not as animal crazy as we are, you're not right for us.
We don't expect every one to know everything, you'l be trained in areas from dog nutrition, to Horse Health!
If you feel like you could brim with passion about the latest horse feed or the safest way to deworm a dog, come on in!
As a Supervisor, you'll make our customers' experience pleasant from start to finish.
From a warm welcome that sets an inviting tone, to friendly advice that guides them towards the right purchase, you'll play an essential role in delivering our services.
You'll be leading the team on a day to day basis to ensure we deliver the best service and standards to our customers.
You'll also help with assisting our Website team from time to time and possibly given the opportunity to receive Forklift Truck Training.
The position we're offering is a part time role, working 25 hours per week.
Your working hours will be on a rota basis, working up to 7pm, including your share of weekends and Bank Holidays.
