We have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Ambulance Driver to join our team here at PetMedics.

Location: Our Worsley site

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 25 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Rota will be varied and will include some nights.

Responsibilities:

  • Animal handling and transportation, particularly dealing with animals with difficult demeanours (experience with handling large dogs required)
  • Animal husbandry and exercising
  • Infection control
  • Basic administration tasks with animal records
  • General housekeeping
  • Confidentiality of sensitive duties

Qualifications:

  • A full and clean driving licence
  • Experience handling animals, including transporting animals in and out of vehicles
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to record and document clear, accurate information
