We have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Ambulance Driver to join our team here at PetMedics.

Location: To be based at our Worsley site

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 25 hours per week

Shift Pattern: The rota will be varied and will include some nights.

This position will include:

  • Animal handling and transportation (in particular dealing with animals with difficult demeanours) - experience with handling large dogs required
  • Animal husbandry and exercising
  • Infection control
  • Basic administration tasks with animal records
  • General housekeeping

This is a sensitive role with full confidentiality expected.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A full and clean driving licence
  • Experience handling animals, including the transporting of animals in and out of vehicles
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to record and document clear, accurate information
