The Opportunity

We’re looking for a passionate, commercially minded Senior Product Designer to design and optimise high-performing acquisition experiences across paid traffic channels. Working within the Design & UX team and partnering with the Growth team, you’ll create landing pages, advertorials, quiz funnels and acquisition journeys that turn traffic into customers. Your work will directly influence conversion rate, AOV, subscription uptake and wider business growth. This is a hands‑on role for someone who is comfortable owning projects end‑to‑end, from concept through to execution. You’ll use data, customer insight, UX/UI expertise and experimentation learnings to make fast, informed design decisions. You’ll need to balance longer‑term strategic design initiatives with high‑velocity optimisation work, responding quickly to live performance data, campaign needs and changing business priorities.

What You’ll Do

  • Growth, Funnel & Acquisition Design
  • Design high‑converting landing pages, advertorials, quiz funnels and acquisition experiences across paid marketing channels.
  • Create customer‑centric journeys that improve conversion rate, AOV and subscription uptake.
  • Translate customer insights and performance data into effective digital experiences.
  • Apply UX best practice, CRO principles and user psychology to improve acquisition journeys.
  • Partner with the Growth team to rapidly test, learn and iterate on design concepts.
  • Use analytics, heatmaps, session recordings and experimentation insights to identify friction points and opportunities.
  • Systems Thinking & Scalable Design
  • Create reusable and efficient design solutions that can scale across multiple products, campaigns and test variants.
  • Maintain consistency across acquisition journeys while enabling rapid iteration.
  • Support the evolution of component libraries and design patterns in Figma.
  • Maintain and evolve PetLab Co.’s visual identity across acquisition touchpoints.
  • Balance performance‑led design with brand storytelling.
  • Work closely with marketers, copywriters, developers and other designers to bring funnel experiences to life.
  • Presentation, Iteration & Knowledge Sharing
  • Present design concepts and rationale clearly to stakeholders.
  • Incorporate feedback through an iterative, performance‑driven design process.
  • Share learnings, inspiration and best practice with the wider design team.
  • Stay current on design trends, CRO methodologies and acquisition funnel best practice across D2C and ecommerce.

What Success Looks Like:

  • High‑performing acquisition experiences that improve conversion rate, AOV and subscription uptake.
  • A stronger, more scalable design approach across landing pages, funnels and campaign variants.
  • Clearer experimentation learnings that inform future creative and UX decisions.
  • Strong collaboration between Design, Growth, Creative, Copy and Development.
  • Fast, high‑quality design delivery that supports PetLab Co.’s growth goals.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong understanding of CRO principles, user psychology and responsive web design.
  • Experience balancing longer‑term strategic projects with fast‑paced optimisation work.
  • A systems‑mindful approach, with experience creating scalable design solutions across products, campaigns or test variants.
  • Proficiency in Figma and experience working with component libraries.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively and work at pace in a fast‑moving environment.
  • A strategic, test‑and‑learn mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in subscription, retention‑focused ecommerce or D2C brands.
