We’re looking for a passionate, commercially minded Senior Product Designer to design and optimise high-performing acquisition experiences across paid traffic channels. This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable owning projects end-to-end, from concept through to execution.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience designing high-performing landing pages and acquisition funnels within a D2C, B2C, ecommerce or subscription-based business.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing conversion-focused UX/UI work with measurable business impact.
  • Experience working closely with Growth, Paid Media or Performance Marketing teams.
  • Strong understanding of CRO principles, user psychology and responsive web design.
  • Experience balancing longer-term strategic projects with fast-paced optimisation work.
  • A systems-minded approach, with experience creating scalable design solutions across products, campaigns or test variants.
  • Proficiency in Figma and experience working with component libraries.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively and work at pace in a fast-moving environment.
  • A strategic, test-and-learn mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • (Desirable) Experience designing advertorials, quiz funnels or long-form acquisition experiences.

What the job involves:

  • Working within the Design & UX team and partnering with the Growth team, you’ll create landing pages, advertorials, quiz funnels and acquisition journeys that turn traffic into customers.
  • Your work will directly influence conversion rate, AOV, subscription uptake and wider business growth.
  • You’ll use data, customer insight, UX/UI expertise and experimentation learnings to make fast, informed design decisions.
  • You’ll need to balance longer-term strategic design initiatives with high-velocity optimisation work, responding quickly to live performance data, campaign needs and changing business priorities.
  • Design high-converting landing pages, advertorials, quiz funnels and acquisition experiences across paid marketing channels.
  • Create customer-centric journeys that improve conversion rate, AOV and subscription uptake.
  • Translate customer insights and performance data into effective digital experiences.
  • Apply UX best practice, CRO principles and user psychology to improve acquisition journeys.
  • Partner with the Growth team to rapidly test, learn and iterate on design concepts.
  • Use analytics, heatmaps, session recordings and experimentation insights to identify friction points and opportunities.
  • Create reusable and efficient design solutions that can scale across multiple products, campaigns and test variants.
  • Maintain consistency across acquisition journeys while enabling rapid iteration.
  • Support the evolution of component libraries and design patterns in Figma.
  • Maintain and evolve PetLab Co.’s visual identity across acquisition touchpoints.
  • Balance performance-led design with brand storytelling.
  • Work closely with marketers, copywriters, developers and other designers to bring funnel experiences to life.
  • Present design concepts and rationale clearly to stakeholders.
  • Incorporate feedback through an iterative, performance-driven design process.
  • Share learnings, inspiration and best practice with the wider design team.
  • Stay current on design trends, CRO methodologies and acquisition funnel best practice across D2C and ecommerce.
