Summary of the role's main purpose
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new contract hire opportunities with prospective clients in the region. Build and maintain a regional pipeline of prospects through networking, referrals, industry events, and targeted outreach. Develop tailored proposals highlighting the benefits of PFUK’s temperature-controlled LCV and HGV solutions.
- Strategic Account Management: Own a portfolio of key accounts within your region, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and contract renewals. Identify opportunities for supplementary contracts (additional vehicles, services, or upgrades) to maximize PFUK’s share of wallet. Act as the primary point of contact for strategic clients, providing expert advice on fleet solutions, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Achieve regional sales targets, KPIs, and revenue goals. Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, maintenance) to ensure seamless delivery of services and contractual obligations. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy.
- Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with National Account Managers, operations, and marketing teams to support client delivery and promotional initiatives. Share market insights, best practices, and account strategies with peers across the business.
- Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contract status, and sales activity within the CRM system. Provide regular performance updates, pipeline reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
