We are currently looking for positive, compassionate, and caring Support Workers to join our supported living services in Brighton. We are recruiting for several different services. We attribute each successful candidate to one service that we match with the needs of the people we support. Each of our services offers a family-sized home where between 2 and 4 adults with a primary diagnosis of learning disabilities and autism share their home together. All of our services are very active with activities in the service and in the community. We support with all aspects of daily living, helping them to develop their skills and encouraging their independence. The requirement of candidates with a full UK driver's licence is of high importance to streamline the scheduled activities.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assist the people we support in all areas of their lives and help them to achieve their goals.
- Participate in providing daily activities for the people we support.
- Undertake tasks of a domestic nature, e.g. shopping, cooking, laundry, house cleaning with individuals.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with people we support, their relatives, outside agencies, and other professionals.
