We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager or existing Registered Manager to lead our children's home. For Deputy Managers seeking their first Registered Manager opportunity, this role offers the chance to step up with the support of an experienced Group Service Manager, providing ongoing guidance and professional development.
You will be responsible for the leadership, management, and continuous development of the home, ensuring children receive high-quality care and support, staff are effectively led and developed, and all regulatory requirements are consistently met.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of two years' experience in a Deputy Manager or management role within a children's residential setting.
- Experience of leading and developing teams.
- Experience in planning, monitoring, and reviewing care services.
- Experience in staff training, development, supervision, and performance management.
- Experience in report writing, budget management, and implementing policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently, using initiative to motivate, support, and develop staff while maintaining high standards of care.
Essential Knowledge
- Comprehensive knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Safeguarding legislation and best practice.
