Role Overview: As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in the daily lives of the children, providing care, support, and guidance. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create individualised care plans and implement therapeutic interventions. Your patience, empathy, and strong communication skills will help you manage challenging behaviours and support the children's emotional and developmental needs. Shifts are long days with 1 sleep in per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and supervision to children with challenging behaviour and complex needs.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the children, fostering a sense of trust and security.
