Location: Supported Accommodation Service

Hours:

  • Day shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Late sleep shift: 5:00pm - 8:30am (Shifts worked on a rota basis)

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to join our Supported Accommodation service for young people. You will play a key role in helping young people develop independence, life skills, and confidence, while ensuring they feel safe, listened to, and supported. You will work as part of a flexible and creative team, building trusting relationships and delivering high-quality, trauma-informed support. This role includes key worker responsibilities, where you will coordinate and personalise support to help young people achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide nurturing, trauma-informed support that meets the individual needs, wishes, and aspirations of young people
  • Act as a positive role model, maintaining high standards and a safe, supportive environment
  • Deliver regular key work sessions focused on developing independence and life skills
  • Support young people with education, employment, training, leisure activities, finances, and benefit claims
  • Work closely with social workers, personal advisors, and other professionals to support positive outcomes
  • Safeguard young people and follow all relevant policies, procedures, and Ofsted regulations
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and person-centred records using electronic systems
  • Support young people to plan and prepare for their move-on to independent living
