We are looking for an experienced Senior or Deputy Manager to join a BRAND NEW EBD home located in Stevenage. As our Deputy Manager, you'll lead a supportive, skilled and motivated team to provide outstanding care for our young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and complex needs. Your leadership will shape the home's culture, drive continuous improvement and ensure children feel safe, seen and supported.
Responsibilities
- Support the Manager in overseeing all aspects of the Children's Home, from program development to evaluation.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, teachers, support staff, and therapists, while fostering a culture built on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with families, educational partners, and external agencies to create personalised learning plans.
- Monitor and refine interventions to secure positive outcomes for every child.
- Stay informed on current research, best practices, and developments in special education, embedding new insights into service delivery.
- Assist with budget management, resource planning, and regulatory compliance.
