We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Childrens Home Team Leader to join our Ofsted-registered residential service in Herne Bay. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to take on a leadership role within a supportive and child-focused environment.

Working closely with the management team, you will play a key part in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care and positive childcare practices are maintained at all times. You will help create a safe, nurturing and empowering environment where young people are supported to build independence, develop life skills and prepare for adulthood.

  • Provide a safe, warm and supportive environment for all young people
  • Lead, mentor and support residential care staff to deliver consistent, high-quality care
  • Contribute to care planning, record keeping and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding policies and organisational standards
  • Promote positive outcomes and person-centred support for each child

To be successful in this role, you will be resilient, enthusiastic and committed to improving the lives of children and young people.

  • A Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young Peoples Residential Care (Ofsted requirement)
  • Experience working within an Ofsted-regulated childrens home
  • A strong commitment to delivering outstanding, child-centred care
  • A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
