We are seeking an experienced Residential Children's Team Leader/ Senior Support Worker to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in our new specialist home that will support one young person only.
It's essential that you possess the ability to endure these challenges and work to rebuild trust and rapport when needed. We need Senior team members who are committed to never giving up on our young people, continually offering support and encouragement.

- To raise any concerns with the Registered Manager as appropriate.
- Dealing with challenging behaviour (verbally abusive, possibly threatening behaviour).

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Administer and document medication.
- Conduct and create risk assessments to safeguard children and young people.
- Build rapport with vulnerable children ages 8 to 17 years old and their families on supervised contact.
- Positive behaviour support and physical intervention.
- Conduct Keywork sessions.
- Liaise between social workers, families, and healthcare professionals.
- To safeguard and promote the welfare of young people.
- Will hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare (ESSENTIAL).
- Will be passionate about making a difference in young lives.
- Understands trauma and has the resilience to deal with challenging behaviour.
- Bring good communication and interpersonal skills to provide advice and specialist guidance to our children and families.
- Can use their own initiative to resolve problems.
- Will be a positive role model for the young people.
- Has the ability to work under pressure and prioritise work.
