If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!\\n\\nPosition Overview: We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children with learning disabilities in a residential setting. You will work closely with a team of professionals to create a nurturing environment where each child's individual needs are met.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Provide direct care and support to children from traumatic backgrounds including assistance with daily living activities, gaining indepedance, and emotional support.\\n\\n * Foster a safe and supportive environment for children, promoting independence and encouraging participation in activities.\\n\\n * Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, their families, and other members of the care team.\\n\\n * Assist in the implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that each child's specific needs and preferences are met.\\n\\n * Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills in providing care for children from trauma informed backgrounds\\n\\n * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided and any significant developments or incidents.\\n\\nWorking a mixed Shift pattern of earlies, lates and long days with minimum of 1 sleep in per week.\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n * Previous experience working within a challenging behaviour setting is required\\n\\n * A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.\\n\\n * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues.\\n\\n * Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently when required.\\n\\n * Willingness to work a mixture of early and late shifts, including one sleep-in shift per week.\\n\\n * Relevant qualifications in health and social care or a related field would be advantageous.\\n\\nBenefits:\\n\\n * Competitive salary of approximately £26,500 per annum.\\n\\n * Opportunities for career development and progression within a supportive organization.\\n\\n * Comprehensive training and ongoing support to enhance your skills and knowledge.\\n\\n * A rewarding and fulfilling role where you can make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children
