About the Deputy Manager Role:
You will work within a 4-bed children’s home that offers a warm, therapeutic and consistent environment for young people with emotional and behavioural needs. The team work hard to create a safe space where children can thrive – and that starts with building a fantastic staff team.
Your Role:
As Deputy Manager, you’ll work closely with the Registered Manager to help lead the home, support staff, and ensure the best outcomes for the children in our care. You’ll be hands-on in the daily running of the home, as well as playing a key role in development, compliance, and quality.
What We’re Looking For:
- Willingness to work a shift pattern of Long Days and Sleep Ins in the role with occasional office hours.
- Experience working in a residential children’s home
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Level 5 desirable
- A positive, resilient and child-centred approach
- Confidence in leading shifts, supporting staff and contributing to decision-making
