Peterhouse is looking for a positive, reliable and hard working individual to join our busy Kitchen Team. The Kitchen Porter has an essential role in the catering service, and you will be a valued member of the team. The role consists of assisting with the cleaning, drying and storage of dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, and glasses etc alongside emptying and disposing of waste food bins and kitchen rubbish. The job involves operating plate and glass wash machinery and to ensure that the area is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
Previous experience in a similar environment would be beneficial, but full training will be provided.
We are looking for candidates who can work a mixture of evenings and weekends.
Monday – Friday 16:30-21:30, Saturday 07:30-14:15 – 16:30-21:30, Sunday 15:30-21:30, between 20-25 hours on average per week.
