Peterhouse in Cambridge is seeking a Gate Porter to support students and staff and to uphold the busy academic and communal life of the College, in a friendly and effective manner. Six Gate Porters report to the Head Porter and the role ensures a safe and well-ordered environment on College sites.
You will patrol car parks, sheds and other areas, issue and record keys to authorised persons, report security breaches and accidents, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
