We’re hiring a Community Producer to support the Peterborough Presents team over the next 12 months, working with residents in Welland and Peterborough to co-commission bespoke creative programmes and support the wider PP programme.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on working with a specific community to create new bespoke creative programmes and support the wider Peterborough Presents programme.
- Engage the community to understand their skills, stories, needs and ambitions to shape new programmes.
- Recruit and support community commissioning panels to shape and co-commission arts programmes.
- Work with communities and commissioned artists/creatives to project manage programmes, including organising events and workshops.
- Collaborate with the wider team on marketing and evaluation.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Experience as a community producer with ability to lead development of new creative programmes in Welland, Peterborough.
- Ability to engage diverse communities; commitment to inclusive and equitable practice.
- Willingness to work some evenings and weekends; part-time role of 18.75 hours per week for 12 months.
- Ability to work with partners such as Family Action, Woodfield Park Community Centre, National Literacy Trust.
