Welford, Sibbertoft & Sulby School is a proud member of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET). PDET is responsible for employing all staff and managing finances and other central services for the academies within the Trust. We are seeking a caring and committed Teaching Assistant who can inspire, motivate and support a non-verbal child on a 1:1 basis.
- Ideal candidate:
- Has a good knowledge of SEN Provision
- Is confident, resilient, and dedicated
- Has previous experience of working with and supporting children of relevant age in a school environment
- Has good communication skills and a willingness to work constructively as part of a supportive team
- Has good Literacy and Numeracy skills
- Has the ability to build successful working relationships with both children, staff and parents
- Has a personal commitment to on-going professional development
Details: 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am-3:00pm. Fixed-term Contract until 31/07/2026, to support a child within individual needs, 38 weeks per year. Grade D3, £24,796 FTE (£15,461.62 actual per annum).
