PDET is responsible for employing all staff and managing finances and other central services for the academies within the Trust. We are seeking a caring and committed Teaching Assistant who can inspire, motivate and support a non-verbal child on a 1:1 basis.

  • Ideal candidate:
  • Has a good knowledge of SEN Provision
  • Is confident, resilient, and dedicated
  • Has previous experience of working with and supporting children of relevant age in a school environment
  • Has good communication skills and a willingness to work constructively as part of a supportive team
  • Has good Literacy and Numeracy skills
  • Has the ability to build successful working relationships with both children, staff and parents
  • Has a personal commitment to on-going professional development

Details: 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am-3:00pm. Fixed-term Contract until 31/07/2026, to support a child within individual needs, 38 weeks per year. Grade D3, £24,796 FTE (£15,461.62 actual per annum).
