Would you love to work alongside the Health and Wellbeing Team on an amazing opportunity to develop disability activity clubs during term time.
This role involves being part of a team delivering a range of leisure activities, for children and young people aged 7-19yrs with Special Educational Needs. Activities include reading, arts and crafts, games, exercise, sports.
You can change communication styles to suit individuals and enjoy the challenge of creating activities that enable all participants to achieve their goals. You will be able to enthuse participants to become active in a fun and sociable environment whilst being sensitive to an individuals' needs.
Job Deliverables
- Delivering high quality adaptable and inclusive activities.
- High level of communication throughout the sessions with colleagues, children and parents.
- Use a range of communication methods during sessions.
- Be responsible for the safety of participants and colleagues during sessions.
- Provide personal care when required.
- Report any First Aid & Safeguarding incidents to the Leader.
- Input into development of the programme.
- Attend mandatory training courses.
