Pytchley CE Primary is a proud member of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust. PDET is responsible for employing all staff and managing finances and other central services for the academies within the Trust.
Role and Responsibilities
We are proud to welcome a caring, passionate and professional Teaching Assistant to our committed team, who is eager to provide learning and pastoral care for children with individual needs. We are seeking someone who:
- Is enthusiastic, approachable, friendly and positive about their role in education and contribution to our whole school community
- Is committed to supporting, motivating, and challenging the learning of children of all abilities within the classroom
- Can work creatively with the teacher to establish an appropriate learning environment, meeting the needs of the pupils and curriculum
- Has the ability to work effectively, flexibly, and independently
- Shows initiative and creativity in different learning situations
- Is passionate about children’s learning and well-being
- Is keen to support the ethos of a Church school
- Understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to the safeguarding of children’s welfare—both at home and in school
Salary: Grade D3-4 £24,797 FTE which is £8,433.61. 15 hours per week, 5 days per week. Fixed-Term until 17/07/2026.
