Peterborough City Council is seeking a Communications Assistant to join the Communications Team on a part-time fixed-term basis until 31 March 2028.

You will help create engaging content for social media, video, press releases and staff communications while supporting campaigns to improve recycling rates and IT skills.

The role is hybrid, with 2–3 days in the office per week, and includes opportunities to contribute to design, video production and media in a dynamic public-sector environment.
