We are seeking passionate and dedicated people to join our existing cohort of foster carers to provide a loving, stable home for local children and young people.
Requirements:
- Have a spare bedroom and be over 21 years old.
- No prior fostering experience is required.
You will be home based and receive full support from the experienced in‑house fostering team at Sand Martin House, Peterborough.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a caring, stable environment for children on a short or long‑term basis.
- Participate in training and induction using a hybrid online and in‑person approach.
- Work with a mentor foster carer and access a 24‑hour advice and support line.
- Undergo assessment, including an Enhanced Disclosure check through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
- Support children’s welfare and promote safeguarding and child protection.
