An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Targeted Support Service previously known as Early Help within Children's Services for a fixed term Family Worker. We are seeking someone who is eager to be part of a service that is dedicated to providing the best outcomes for children, young people and families in Peterborough. This is an opportunity for you to be part of a dynamic team who support families who require a level of targeted support. The role will be to work directly with families and young people aged 0-19 years in the family home and community.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A proactive and adaptable approach
  • A passion for ensuring that Children and Families receive a positive and timely first experience of our service
  • Experience of working with children and families
  • Understanding of the Early Help Assessment framework

Appointment to this post will be subject to the outcome of an Enhanced Disclosure obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service. This is a fixed Term contract until end of March 2027. Interviews will be held on the 13th and 14th August.
