Children & Young People's Education Service – School Admissions Team

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Children & Young People's Education Service, School Admissions Team.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate admission processes for Primary (Year R), Junior (Year 3) and Secondary (Year 7) transition applications, including in‑year applications for children wishing to access education within the City.
  • Allocate school places for pupils within strict statutory deadlines and liaise with schools and parents.
  • Engage in wider projects to increase the knowledge base of parents, schools and wider teams across PCC.
  • Working Arrangements

Hybrid work model with office based out of Sand Martin House in Peterborough and work‑from‑home.

Must be able to work from the office for a 9 am start.

Working hours 9 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday, no weekend work.
