Both schools are led by the same Headteacher and Leadership Team, who support staff well-being and promote a positive working environment.

We Are Seeking Someone Who:

  • Can work collaboratively with various members of the school community, including agencies, school staff, children and parents, to be a pivotal supportive link that helps overcome barriers to learning.
  • Understands the importance of child protection and is committed to safeguarding children’s welfare both at home and in school.
  • Can promote an effective relationship between home and school life for both children and parents.
  • Has knowledge and awareness of opportunities and resources to support children and families in need.
  • Can maintain effective and efficient communication lines between various groups and organisations throughout the community to ensure essential support is available for families.
  • Has an understanding of procedures and systems involved in the role, including social services, child protection, education welfare service policies and reporting standards.
  • Maintains an approachable, controlled and focused manner throughout their work, relaying a positive and optimistic attitude to support those in challenging situations; may need to deal with a wide-ranging audience on challenging issues.
  • Has previous experience working with children and their families.
  • Can work effectively, flexibly and independently, with a willingness to show initiative and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Is keen to support the ethos of a Church school.
